The Rode NTG2 is a condenser shotgun microphone designer for use in film, broadcast, video and television. The full frequency response and low noise and audio transparency makes it extremely versatile in these settings. It requires either 48V phantom power or via a removable AA battery. It also has a switchable 80Hz high-pass filter.
